The Only Mortal in Heaven — Episode 5: Even Angels Get Hungry

Blood. In Episode 5 William coughs it up, and nobody can explain why. Angel sits him beside the fountain and tells him to stay put: 'Stay here. I'll find something that helps.' But strange sounds drift through the marble halls, and a man fresh from his own death is not about to sit still. He follows them to a half-open door and gets an eyeful: angels tangled together, eyes glowing blue, something bright passing between them.

So this is how heaven really runs. Angel finds him there, flushed, and pulls him away with a sharp 'I told you to wait.' She never meant for him to learn this so soon. Now William has exactly one question, and he will not let it go: does she do that too? Angel refuses to answer in the hallway. She takes his hand and leads him out into the garden, where the truth is waiting.
