Therapy With My Stepmom — Episode 3: Living With My Stepmom

Richard wanders back for his laptop, pleased to see the two "getting along already." Riley slips Cole a card. She is passing him to Dr. Marsh, and whatever happened between them officially never did. Then she moves in, and a week later Cole still has no idea how to stand in the same room as her.

Episode 3 turns the house itself into the confession room. At breakfast he spills hot coffee down her silk robe and reaches for a napkin. For the first time in five years, Richard lifts his eyes from his tablet and stares straight at Cole's hands on her chest. Riley brushes it off and heads for the shower. That night the hallway is dark and her door is left ajar. She catches him staring, wrapped only in a towel, and smiles. "Six months you've been watching me, Cole. Come in and look properly."
